MAYERS (Gratto), Lily “Peggy” – Peacefully, after a brief illness, with her family by her side, Peggy Mayers passed away on January 28th, 2013 in her 62nd year. Beloved companion and best friend of Don Ball. Cherished mother of Bruce Wood (Sherry) and Lee Wood (Angie). Adoring grandmother to Devon, Dyson and Nathan. Lovingly remembered by her sisters and brother, Joyce, Bamford (Jane), Betsy, Carol (Cliff), Marion, Kathy (Tom), Helen and Bobbi (Jim). Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her spouse, Paul Mayers, and parents, Trevor Gratto and Shirley Ellis (Hendry). Peggy was born and grew up in Truro, Nova Scotia. She devoted her life to raising her two boys, and was overjoyed by the birth of her three grandsons, all of whom were the love of her life. Peggy eventually settled in Brantford, Ontario, where she spent the last decade as a dedicated employee of Flim Flam Arts & Crafts Supplies. A celebration of life to follow.
