Dorothy passed away peacefully at the age of 101.

Predeceased by her loving husband John (Jack), son James and daughter-in-law Randy.

Survived by sons Michael (Gail), David, friend Star, grandchildren Amanda (Darwin), John-Paul, Rheanne, great-grandchildren Eric and Justin.

Dorothy's life started in Nelson. In her early years the family relocated to Vancouver. She worked as a salesclerk/model at Spencer's Dept. Store and as foreman at the Bemis Bag Factory. Dorothy began driving her own car at a young age paving the way for women's liberation. Soon after her marriage to John they moved to Kamloops where they raised three sons. Dorothy will be remembered for the many baby outfits she knitted and donated to the RIH Auxiliary & Red Cross.

Dorothy moved to Overlander Care Home in 2008. Special thanks to staff in Orchard Grove and Tara Bauer for their care & friendships.
