CORPORON, Jeanette Bernadette- 125 Chemin de l’Est, Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, with her family by her side, after battling cancer for more than twenty three years. Born February 13, 1940 in Wedgeport, she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Marion LeBlanc. Jeanette enjoyed going to TOPS, watching her favourite programs on television (especially The Bachelor) and she loved listening and dancing to music. In her later years, she looked forward to going on Sunday drives to Tim Horton’s. Jeanette was a member of Saint Michel Parish, Wedgeport. Her positive attitude towards life, her easy going personality and her one of a kind smile will always be remembered. Jeanette leaves behind her devoted daughters, Christine Corporon, Montréal; Patsy (Todd Johnson) Doucette, Plymouth, grandchildren, Mandy and Melissa, and great grandchildren, Austin, Logan, Emily, Brooke and Ethan; devoted son, Vernon (Kathy) Corporon, Wedgeport, grandchildren, Jason, Trisha and Tessa. Also surviving are siblings, Anna (Stanley) Davis, Wedgeport; Ernest (Andrea) LeBlanc, Wedgeport; Vernon (Louise) LeBlanc, Wedgeport; Margaret-Rose (Buddy) Thompson, Pembrooke; a sister-in-law, Edna LeBlanc. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Corporon; a sister, Pauline LeBlanc, in infancy, and brother Paul LeBlanc. Visitation took place from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at H. M. Huskilson Funeral Home, Wedgeport. The funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 11 at Saint Michel Parish Church, Wedgeport. Interment followed in the parish cemetery.
