Isabelle F.M. McAssey
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, February 7, 2013, of Mrs. Isabelle McAssey of Charlottetown, age 90 years.
Beloved wife of the late Otis McAssey, and dear mother of Judy Cheverie (Kim LeRoux) and Selwyn McAssey (Cyndy). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Kimberley VanDuinkerken (Fred), Karrie MacDougall (Darryl), Paula Gallant (Scott), Debbie Blacquiere, Donna Blacquiere (Wendell Drewitt), and Drew Fyfe (Tracy); 9 great-grandchildren, Jennifer VanDuinkerken (Doug Burke), Amy VanDuinkerken (Dylan Lye), Alex and Adam MacDougall, Jeffrey and Darcy Blacquiere, Cameron, Tigan and Morgan Fyfe; 6 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; faithful companion Nipper and his 3 buds.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Mervyn Blacquiere; son, Murdock Fyfe; brother, Alan MacIntyre; and sister, Bertha MacDonald.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where a private funeral service will be held. No visitation by personal request. Interment later in the family plot at People's Cemetery.
