(May 12th 1919-Feb 8th 2013). Passed peacefully away at the Miller Centre, St. John’s on Friday, February 8th, 2013, Mr. Charles Walsh of
St. John’s, formerly of Bellevue, Trinity Bay, aged 93 years, retired member of the Newfoundland Constabulary. Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Josephine Walsh (nee Pinsent), by his first wife Monica (nee Greene) and brother Jack. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife Catherine; brother Tom (Ruby). children: Shirley (Jason Gant), Vince (Lynda), Don (Nadine), Des (Ruth), Alice (Steve Power) and David; grandchildren: Robert, James, Craig, Jonathan, Brendan, Monica, Jonathan, Nancy, Andrea, Madison, Haedyn, Graysen, a large circle of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Monday 7-9, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013 at 10 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
