Harvey Joseph Gauthier
The death occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 7, 2013, of Harvey Gauthier, beloved husband of Dolores Richard, of North Rustico, age 79.
Harvey is lovingly remembered by his sons, David (Peggy), Ricky (Sue) and Blair Gauthier; stepchildren, Cathy Richard (Roger), Brenda Roach (Greg), Sharon Hazel and Alan Richard (Kelly); grandchildren, Vicky, Blair, Anthony, Michelle, Scott, Sandra, Julie, Alex and Jeffrey; and one great-grandson, Danny. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne Gallant (Gloria); sisters, Betty McKenna, Eunice Gallant, Sheila Gallant and Nancy Gallant; sisters-in-law, Joan and Susan; uncle, Arliss Peters; aunt, Eleanor Peters; and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Harvey was predeceased by his son, Tony Gauthier; mother, Winnifred Gallant (nee Gauthier); father, Alban Doucette; brothers, Jamsie Gallant, Lowell Gallant and Herbie Gallant.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Monday, February 11, 2013, 6 to 9 p.m. The North Rustico Lions will hold a prayer service at the funeral home Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10:30 p.m. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
