83, passed peacefully away at home with her family on Thursday, February 7th, 2013. Born in Gambo NL, she was the daughter of the late James and Bridgett Broderick. She was predeceased by her husband, Bertram and eldest son, Brian. Surviving are daughters Cathy Morrissey (Bill Landry), Beverly (Greg) Dyson, Marion (Calvin Ward), son Christopher (Edith Grear), Grandchildren Dan (Kim) Morrissey and Heather Morrissey (Chuck Briand) , great grandchildren Michael Parrott (Brian and Maureen), Brooklyn and Cole Morrissey (Dan and Kim), and numerous loving relatives and friends. At Helen’s request, visitation and services will be held at Atlantic Funeral Homes, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville, N.S. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12th from 6pm - 8pm with funeral services held on Wednesday, February 13th at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Oakridge Memory Gardens, 1078 Old Sackville Road, Middle Sackville, N.S. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Canadian Red Cross.
