The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, of Annie “Mae” Chaisson of Pleasant View, aged 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Medric J. Chaisson. Mae was born June 19, 1935, the daughter of the late Delia Doucette and stepfather John Perry. Cherished mother to Joanne (Terry) Gallant, Miminegash; Marlene Green, Pleasant View; Leigh Chaisson, Pleasant View; Kenneth (Andrea) Chaisson, Summerside; and Mark (Krista) Chaisson, Saint John, NB. Loving grandmother to Chad, Rodney and Adam Gallant, Christina and Timmy Green, Aaron, Zachary, Nicholas, Dustin and Alex Chaisson and great-grandmother to Abby, Ethan, Jackson, Tiffany, Riley, Ryder and Jasmine. She is also survived by sisters Lillian Allain, Pleasant View, and Joyce (Gene) Strojny, Sudbury, Ont. She was predeceased by her husband Medric, mother Delia, stepfather John and grandsons Darcy and Dale. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road. No visiting hours as a personal request. Funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 22, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road, with funeral mass at 2 p.m. Celebrant will be Rev. Jacques Rigaud. Cremated remains will in interred in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes or Prince County Hospital ICU would be greatly appreciated.
