It is with great sorrow and broken hearts that the family of Martin Kolchetski announces his sudden and shocking passing on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, Martin was the son of the late Michael and Helen Kolchetski.
Martin is survived by his wife, Sally and his two boys, Michael and Mark. He also leaves behind his six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two brothers, Ron and Michael.
Visitation and funeral service to celebrate the life of Martin Kolchetski will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church Street) on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 6-8 p.m. with service to follow at 8 p.m. with Fr. Paul Murphy officiating.
Donations in memory of Martin may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
