Bonnie Howells of Canora, SK, passed away on February 17th, 2013, at the Canora Hospital after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.
Bonnie was born on October 8th, 1950, to Henry and Rhoda (Jones) Ranson in Weyburn, SK. They lived in Kamloops, B.C., where for more than thirty years they owned and operated Sweep-Eez Furnace and Chimney Cleaning business. Together they retired and relocated to Canora in July of 2012.
Bonnie pursued a life-long passion for reading and was rarely seen without a book under her arm. She was a gifted computer technician, an avid hobbyist, fantastic cook, and family genealogist. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bonnie was predeceased by her father Henry David Ranson, in January 1978 and her son Darren Clifford Howells, in May 1998.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of thirty-five years, Howard Charles Howells, her mother Rhoda Maxine Ranson, her brother David Larry Ranson and a multitude of friends in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
As per Bonnie's wishes, there will be no service at this time. A Memorial Service will be held in Kamloops, B.C., in the spring of 2013. Interment of Cremated Remains will take place in the family plot at Yellow Grass, SK, at a later date.
