Peter was born on August 24, 1958 in Kamloops, BC, second son to Rose and Bill Nystoruk. Peter attended John Todd Elementary School, where he made many lifelong friends, and acquired a love of sports. He continued his schooling at MacArthur Park and Norkam High, where he excelled in volleyball, basketball, and hockey. After completing his high school education, Peter moved to Edmonton where he met his wife of 29 years, Kelly, and became interested in manufacturing. After the birth of their first four sons, Peter and Kelly chose to return to Kamloops to raise their family. He worked laboriously to start his business, Pultech Pultrusions.
Through the years and the births of their five children, Peter devoted his time to his family, friends and his business. In his last few years his granddaughters brought him great joy and comfort. After a lengthy battle with heart disease, Peter passed away in comfort on Tuesday, February 19th.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Steyn, Dr. Prasad, Dr. K. Laupland and Dr. Newmarch, all the nurses and staff from 7 North and ICU for the care and compassion shown to Peter and our family at a very difficult time.
