MacDONALD, WALTER RAE - 1930 - 2013 - Rae MacDonald, 82, of Riverview and formerly of Lower Coverdale, NB, passed away at his residence, on Thursday, February 21, 2013. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Walter and Lucy (Dobson) MacDonald. Rae was the owner and operator of Raemac Agencies Inc. He loved Hockey, cards, bowling, fishing and gardening at the cottage in the summer, he was also a long time member of the UCT (United Commercial Travelers). He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Goguen) MacDonald; his three sons Michael, Bruce and Tim (Lynn) MacDonald; two step-daughters, Kimberley Parmiter, Tracy Goguen; four grandchildren; one sister Beth Rogers; sisters-in-law Merna and Marilyn MacDonald; brothers-in-law Bill MacLeod and Ken Mitton, as well several neices and nephews. Besides his parents, Rae was predeceased by his 1st wife Janet MacDonald; sisters Jean Mitton, Pearl MacLeod; brothers Coleman and Rodney MacDonald.
Resting at the Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. with visitation on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 10:00 am with Rev. Jeff Irving officiating. Interment will be at Wilmot Memorial Cemetery in the spring.
