Annie Maud Moore

Moore, Annie, a long-time resident of the Truro area, died Tuesday the 5th of March at the Aberbeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born 1943, in Lake Egmont, NS, Annie grew up in Admiral Rock, the daughter of Alma Dillman Moore and Stanley Roy Moore where she enjoyed many happy years with her brothers Isaac Moore, August Moore(deceased), Carl Moore (deceased) and much loved sister s Mary Moore Mailman Munroe (deceased), Ethel Moore Matthews. Annie worked various jobs but eventually settled into a position at Crossley Carperts Truro where she worked 27 years until her retirement. Annie was a beautiful, gentle person, who loved the simple things in life. She was kind, generous and loving to all. She is survived by her long-time companion Ray Roberts and will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Annie’s life will be held at Abundant Life Victory Church Dunromin Ave, Bible Hill, Sunday March 10th at 3pm, with internment in Admiral Rock to follow at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro.
