Audrey Thelma Scott, age 87 years of Cabri, Saskatchewan passed away March 3, 2013 at Cabri, SK. The memorial service was held at 2:00 PM from the United Church in Cabri with Marie Barr officiating. The organist was Lexie Culham. The eulogist was her daughter Nancy Scott. The ushers were Kathryn Olsgard and Laura Tuchscherer. The interment service will be held at a later date at the Cabri Community Cememtery. Honorary pallbearers were all who shared in her life. Audrey is survived by her daughter: Nancy Scott; son: Dean (Judy) Scott; daughter: Tracey (Kelly) Gossard. Grandchildren: Keri (John) Irving; their children: Logan, Jones, Jeena; Melissa (Derek) Hill; Krisanne and Danielle Gossard and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother Christian & Anna (Halvorson) Evjen; husband: Joe Scott; brother: Harold (Christie) Evjen; sister: Beatrice (John) Hayden; father-in-law Alex Scott mother-in-law Helen Scott; Brother-in-law George Scott; brother-in-law: Jim Scott; sister-in-law: Jean (Bob) Sloan; sister-in-law Peggy (Harry) Davidson; sister-in-law Dorothy Scott; grandson: Kris Scott. Audrey was born on February 27, 1926 at Cabri, SK. She attended the Roe District School, Abbey School, Nipawin and then normal school. She married Joseph Scott on July 10, 1948 at Alysham. Audrey worked mostly as a homemaker, but did keep books at the Esso gas station for a short period of time. She was a member of the Shackleton U.C.W., Cabri Curling Club and the Whist Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, reading book, watching curling, baseball and football on tv. She especially enjoyed visiting her grandchildren as well. During the last 10 years of Audrey's life she has been on dialysis in swift current, SK. We would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Dynysschen, Dr. Wilson, all the dialysis nurses, the volunteer drivers, the homecare "girls" and all her family, friends and neighbors. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the Cabri Ladies Auxiliary or the Cabri United Church. Audrey will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.
