It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nina Jessie Piercey announce her passing on Monday, February 1st, 2010 at the D.E.C. Hospital in Fredericton, NB in her 76th year. She will be sadly missed by her children, Brian (Rosemary) of Deer Lake, Elvis of Rankin Inlet, Tony, Jason of New Brunswick, Mable of Deer Lake, Colleen and Juanita of New Brunswick and Rosalie (John) of Brampton, Ontario, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. one sister Lorna (Sam Major), also a large circle of relatives and friends.She was predeceased by her husband Llewellyn, sons Gary and Harold and sister Eileen. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake today, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake on Friday at 2:00pm. with interment to follow at the family plot on High Street. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, Deer Lake. Donations may be made in memory of Nina to the Dialysis Unit of the Western Memorial Hospital.
