It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our loving sister and aunt, Alice Marie Ryan, aged 77 years at The Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Monday, March 18, 2013. Predeceased by her parents: John and Margaret Ryan; sister Mary (Mamie); brother-in-law Norman Chafe; nephews: Robert Chafe, Kevin Chafe and Cory Collins. Leaving to mourn her four brothers: Michael (Dot), Tom of Vancouver, William and Brendan (Marjorie); 23 nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends. Alice was a long time employee of 37 years at Eastern Health (Central Laundry). Special thanks to the 3rd Floor Staff at Hoyles Escasoni Complex for their special care and compassion for Alice and their caring support to the family. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and then on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held from Corpus Christi Parish, Waterford Bridge Road on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at The Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kilbride.
