It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reynold Shaw of Kamloops on March 23, 2013 at 83 years of age.

Rey is survived by May, his devoted and loving wife of 57 years. He will also be dearly missed by his sisters Louise (Bill Byrne) of Edmonton and Carol Petri of Kamloops. Also left to mourn are Rey's nieces, nephews and their families.

Rey was predeceased by his parents Louise and Samuel Shaw, his first wife Doreen and brothers Marshall and Ernie.

Rey was born in Cranbrook. He later met May in Lethbridge, Alberta and they married in 1955. Rey and May moved to Kamloops in 1972 and he retired from Mt. Lolo/ Armories in Kamloops in 1992.

He loved to spend time at their cabin on the lake or travelling with their truck and camper. Many hours were spent fishing, boating, playing cards and visiting with friends and family.

Special thanks to Drs. Pretorius and Howie, the staff at RIH, Ponderosa Lodge and The Shores for their wonderful care and consideration.

Reverend Len Denbraber will oversee the Celebration of Rey's Life at The Shores Retirement Residence at 870 Westminster Avenue in Kamloops on March 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rey's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
