Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on March 26, 2013, Patrick Shanks, aged 77 years. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Cynthia Shanks; his brother Clifford; and his sister Beverly. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, his wife of 54 years, Eileen (nee Rideout); 5 children: Jim (Gail), Kathy (John), Dwayne (Andrea), Annette, Tina (Gary); 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; as well as other relatives and friends. Rested at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Thursday, March 28, from 7-9pm, and on Friday, March 29, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service was held at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, Mount Pearl, on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at 2:00pm.
