At Prince County Hospital on Saturday, March 30, 2013, of Shirley "Sugar" Jean Swallow (nee McAndrew) of 1 Lowther St., Kensington, aged 60 years. Born in Halifax, N.S., on July 17, 1952, Shirley was a daughter of the late Ronald McAndrew and the late Edna (Watts) McAndrew. Predeceaed by brother Darrell (Heather). Lovingly remembered by sisters: Sandy Gale (late Tom), Marilyn McGuire (late Gerry), Nancy Frank (late Ted), Donna, a brother, David (Kate), former husband, David Swallow, and many nieces and nephews. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora, where a private family Memorial Service for family and invited guests will be held on Thursday, April 4, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Dwight Ingersoll officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society on behalf of Sugar's beloved dogs Karma and Charlotte. No visiting hours by personal request.
