Alphonse "Ned" LeBlanc

LeBLANC, ALPHONSE À EDOUARD "NED" - 1924 - 2013 - Alphonse LeBlanc, 89, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Saturday, April 13th, 2013, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton. Born in Fox Creek, he was the son of the late Edouard “Ned” and the late Alexina (née: Boudreau) LeBlanc. Alphonse was the owner of A.E. LeBlanc Trucking and Construction, a member of Saint-Anselme parish and a former member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Saint Anselme. He enjoyed summers at the cottage and the trailer. He is survived by two daughters: Murielle (Claude) LeBlanc of Fox Creek and Rose-Marie Crain (Dave Fraser) of St-Anselme; two sons: Jean-Paul of Notre-Dame and Charles (Wendy) of St-Anselme; one brother, Alderice (Rita) of St-Anselme; four grandchildren: Michelle (Jonathan), André (Joselle), Natalie and Nikki; three great grandchildren: Janie, Alex and Caleb; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents; he was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine in 2009; three sisters: Rita, Stella and Aurore and also by four brothers: Raymond, Omer, Hervé and Gerald.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013 at 11 am. Interment in Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital “Oncology” or to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundations would be appreciated by the family. www.chartersville.com
