Passed peacefully away on May 4th, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer, Roxanne Howse (Reid) age 48 years. Predeceased by her brother-in-law, Dale. Leaving to mourn her husband Derek and daughters: Samantha and Laura; parents: Mary and Woodrow Reid; sisters: Deanne Hughes (Philip, sons: Nicholas, Matthew) and Leanne Friesen (Dallas, children: Josiah, Lucy); brother: Jason (Lana, daughters: Chloe, Rachel); parents-in-law: Audrey and Domino; in-laws: Dawn (surrogate son: Steven Dlamini; special friend Wally Watkins), Dwight (Diane, children: Sarah, Jonathan), David (Sheila, sons: Daniel, Christopher, Braden), Kitty (Sean Boulger, children: Patricia, Victoria, Matthew, Rebekah), Daryl (Debbie, children: Megan, Michael, Beth), Douglas (Khristie, children: Isaac, Joel, Eva, Seth). Also leaving a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Dr. R. H. Bliss Cancer Centre for their care over the past eight years and the doctors and staff of the Palliative Care unit at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue, with visitation on Monday, May 6th, 2013 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, May 7th, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 pm and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday, May 8th, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Temple, Torbay Road with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
