Brown, Norma Susan (Archibald) - 71, Eastville. It is with great sadness that we the family of Norma Susan Brown announce her sudden passing on May 3rd, 2013 at her home. Born in Musquodoboit, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Rhindress) Archibald. Norma enjoyed a variety of activities including crocheting, quilting, cooking and baking. Time spent with her friend Hazelle was especially appreciated as well as time fishing. She loved her grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Sherree (Dana) Miller, Upper Stewiacke, Shelley (Jeff) Maxwell, Londonderry; son, Laurie (Nancy), East Stewiacke; grandchildren, Samantha, Daniel, Carla, Mitchell and Cameron; great granddaughters, Mikalah and Jaelyn; brother, David, New Brunswick; sisters, Joan Robinson, Ontario, Alice (Fred Godine) O’Neill, B.C., Bonnie (Jay Finck) Cox, Manitoba. Besides her parents Norma was predeceased by her husband, Laurie; son, Larry; sisters, Ilene Walsh, Frances Zander; brothers, James, William. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6th from 6 – 8 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with a memorial service Tuesday, May 7th at 2 p.m. in the Springside United Church, Upper Stewiacke. Interment in Eastville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
