Sheila Fobes, nee Morris, born in the seaside town of Llanelli, South Wales, UK, mother, teacher, avid card player, member of the Marshfield Women's Institute, organ player at St Pius X parish, member of the Confederation Centre Choir, amateur artist in oil paintings, accomplished pianist, hospital volunteer, and 4-H instructor, died on May 4th, 2013 at home in Ottawa, surrounded by her loved ones. Survived by her husband Walter Fobes, retired University of Prince Edward Island professor, of Marshfied, PEI and Ottawa, Ontario, and her sister Peggy Simons of Cardiff, Wales. She leaves six surviving children, Marion, Peter, Elizabeth, Caroline, Martin and Edward, and their spouses, as well as seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
