David William Chaisson

David Chaisson passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2013.
Born in Sydney, April, 1945, he was the son of the late William and Myrtle (Riley) Chaisson.
David was a talented artist. He graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1970, specializing in graphic design.
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Steven Brown), Calgary, Alta.; and her mother, Marguerite Chaisson, Qualicum Beach, B.C.; sister, Dorothy (Allan Harries), Bible Hill; and brother, Gordon (Jeanie), Westmount. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many good friends and neighbours.
David was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima parish, Sydney River.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 9 with Fr. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial will take place at the Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
