On her 70th birthday, May 6, 2013, Mary McGrath passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre. Formerly of Mount Carmel, she moved from Wabush to St. John’s in the late 1980’s. Predeceased by her parents: William and Maryann Wade; sister Katherine (Dobbin); and brother Patrick. Leaving to mourn, sister Regina (Power); sons: Hubert Jr., Ken (Jennifer), Kevin; daughter Roxanne; granddaughter Angela; grandson Ryder; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, St. John’s. Visitation times are as follows, Wednesday, May 8, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., and Thursday, May 9, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from St. Patrick’s Parish, 6 Patrick Street, on Friday, May 10, 2013, at 9:30 a.m., with interment to take place at a later date.
