CLINGO, KEITH - Keith James Clingo of Quispamsis and formerly of Upper Hampstead, NB was promoted to Glory on May 7, 2013, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by his first wife of 45 years, Edith (MacDonald) Clingo. His death occurred at the SJRH with his family by his side. Keith was born in Farnborough, England, on December 15, 1917, the son of the late Capt. John and Maude (Gosden) Clingo. He is survived by his sons John (Jack) and Maria Clingo of Woodstock, ON, Bob and Cindy Clingo of Green Valley, ON and daughter Alice and Dale Fidler of Quispamsis, NB; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister Joan Moore of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his second wife Eleanor (Sully) Clingo; grandson Nathan Clingo; brother Derek; sisters Eileen Ebbett, Marjorie Burgess and Kathleen Gaunce.
Visiting will take place at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, Friday, May 10, 2013, from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. The celebration service of Keith's life will be held at the Rothesay Baptist Church, 30 Vincent Road, Quispamsis, at 10:00 am, on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Interment will follow in Upper Hampstead Cemetery in the afternoon.
