Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park on Saturday, May 4, 2013. William Robert Dillon, aged 77 years. Predeceased by his wife Leona (October 28, 2008), mother and father Captain William and Mary Dillon, sister Lorraine Kean and brother Patrick Dillon, mother and father-in-law Sarah and David Brown, brothers-in-law Desmond Kenny and Edward Brown (Rita) as well as sisters-in-law Minnie Fitzgerald (Leo), Hazel Puddister (Jack), Rebecca Breen (Max) and Annie Goose (Will). Leaving to mourn, his sisters: Fran Clinton (Gene) of Florida, Jo Kenny of Grand Falls-Windsor; sister-in-law Ethel Dillon of New York; brothers-in-law: Wallace Brown (Ruth) of Glenwood, Angus Brown of Tilton and Edgar Kean of St. John’s, NL. As well as a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially his dear friends, caregivers and management at Chancellor Park, including Michelle O’Rielly of St. John’s. Also his special nephew Rodney Fitzgerald of Labrador City and his lifelong friend Frank Bennett. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at Caul’s Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
