Cooper, Margaret (Peggy) Leticia, 79 passed away peacefully in the Yarmouth Reginal Hospital on May 7, 2013. Born in Toronto Ontario on February 5, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Irvine and Margaret Cooper. She spent most of her life in Toronto and Montreal and was a long time employee of Bell Canada. In 2008 she moved to Yarmouth to be closer to her brother John and his family. She enjoyed living in Yarmouth especially this past year as a resident of Vancouver Place Seniors Residence. She also enjoyed the worship and fellowship at Zion United Baptist Church. Peggy is survived by her brother John and sister in law Mary as well as her two nephews David (Faith and children), Kansas and Micheal ( Angela), Calgary. Also several cousins and their families in the Ottawa area. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth, Rev. Ray Corbett officiated. There was no visitation per family request. Donations in Peggy's memory may be made to the Canadain Diabetes Association or the Canadain Cancer Society.
