The family of Patrick ‘Pat’ Neary, wish to announce his passing on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late John and Muriel (Cooke) Neary.
Pat is survived by his only daughter, Marie; three grandchildren, Patrick, Taralyn, David; five great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Tenille, Ily, Sara, Emily; one sister, Rose Sullivan; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Patrick (1969) and his wife, Freda (1983).
Visitation will be Monday, May 13, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. Cremation will follow. A graveside committal will be held Wednesday, May 15, at 11 a.m. in St. Anne’s Cemetery. The Rev Norman MacPhee will preside.
