SHARP: Patricia (Pat) Sharp, age 95 years of Swift Current, SK, passed away May 1, 2013 at the Swift Current Care Centre. The Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m., May 10, 2013 from the St. Stephens Anglican Church with Reverend Jonathan Hoskin officiating. The organist was Janet Neubauer. Scripture Reader was a granddaughter: Jackie Maloney and the Crucifer was a grandson: Chris Biederbeck. The ushers were grandsons, Thomas Sharp, Great Grandsons Anthony Sharp and Zackary Sharp. Pallbearers were Grandsons, Curtis Cave, Michael Maloney, Patrick Maloney, Nick Romanchuk, Rick Sharp Jr., and David Sharp. The Interment Service took place at Mount Pleasant Burial Park. Pat is survived by four daughters; Beverley (Nick) Romanchuk of Armstrong, B.C.; Joyce (Don) Maloney of Regina, SK.; Lois Biederbeck of Swift Current, SK and Lorna (Brian) Cave of Medicine Hat, AB. Two sons John (Linda) Sharp of Waldeck, SK and Richard (Heather) Sharp of Medicine Hat, AB. Fifteen Grand Children, 32 Great Grandchildren, Two Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and sister-in-law- Belle Millen. She was predeceased by her parents Marchian (Martin) and Chymka Malazdrewich, mother and father-in-law Arthur John and Olive Mabel Sharp, loving husband Cyril John Sharp, four brothers Michael Millen, Barney Millen, Emil Millen and Victor Millen. Two sisters Cassie Malazdrewich and Mary Chalk. One niece Gloria Giesbrecht, two nephews Jim Chalk and Michael Murphy, brother-in-law Edward Chalk and sister-in-law Ellen Millen. Pat was born on October 20, 1917 in Garland, Man. She attended school in Waldeck and was united in marriage to Cyril John Sharp on February 4, 1940 in Swift Current. Pat worked for a short time with SaskTel at the same time raising her family. She was a member of the St. Stephen's Anglican Church Woman. Pat loved to knit, crochet, read and do vegetable and flower gardening. She also loved nature and the outdoors. She truly loved her family and will be sadly missed by them and her friends. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of the Donor's Choice. Warren's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
