BECKER- Arline Faith Becker of Swift Current, SK, passed away on May 14th, 2013, in Leader, SK, at the age of 77 years. The Funeral Service was held on May 20th, from St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Kiel officiating, and the interment took place at Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery. The music was sung by Blair Gehl and her grandsons Jeff and Jason Tweten read the eulogy. The ushers were Paul and Brody Patterson, and all her friends and family are considered honorary urn bearers. Arline is survived by her children, Ron, Debbie (Emil) Tweten, Linda, Denise and Randy Becker. Grandchildren; Natasha and Adrianna Becker, Jeff (Treena) Tweten, Jason (Courtney) Tweten, great grandchildren; Riley and Hannah Tweten. Brother, William Henry Salmon; step siblings, nieces, and nephews; sisters in law, Edna (Les) King and Doris King; and brother in law, Marvin Backer. She is predeceased by her husband, Rudolph Rupert Becker (Rudy); father, William Henry Salmon; mother, Mona Jorgensen (nee Earl); step father, Engbert John Jorgensen; father in law, Henry Becker; mother in law, Helen Becker; and brother in law, Harvey (Evelyn) Becker. On May 4th, 1979 Arline married Rudolf Rupert Becker. She was employed at the Canadian Customs for over 35 years as a Customs Officer. She was an active member of the Legion, and enjoyed such things as reading, music, making baby quilts, knitting, flowers, and dancing. Arline loved cats and missed hers. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had emphysema, cancer, a heart attack, and later in life dementia. Arline's life ended with a heart attack. Warren's Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, or to the St. Olaf Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
