It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Linda Lee (Hardy) Warner on May 17, 2013 at home.
Born in Yarmouth she was the daughter of Cora (Goudey) Hardy, Yarmouth and the late Robert Hardy, Sydney.
Linda retired from the citizenship/immigration office in Sydney and enjoyed nothing more than spending her time spoiling her three grandchildren, Julie, Bryson and Ben. A sun worshipper, she also loved the heat and beach days of summer.
She is survived by daughters, Shawna (Darren) Brown, Antigonish and Heather Warner, Sydney; sisters Debbie (Terry) Murphy, Yarmouth, Sheila (Emile) Hachey, Saint John, NB and Elaine Hardy, ON; brother, Robert (Tammy) Hardy, Stellarton; Alyre Comeau, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Julie Brown, Bryson Warner and Benjamin Brown; several nieces, nephews and good friends.
Linda was predeceased by her husband, Fred Warner.
Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21 at Christ the King Church, Sydney, Rev. Laura McCue will officiate. A reception will follow the service in the reception room at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel.
