It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Lahey announce her passing on Saturday, May 18th, 2013 at the Bonne Bay Medical Center, Norris Point at the age of 91. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Daughter: Gloria Ann (John Kent). Son: Patrick Joseph (Elizabeth Lahey). Grand-children: Michaela Kent (Fred Sheppard), Susan Kent, Michael Lahey (Zoe Dempster), Andrew Lahey, Stephanie Kent (Matthew Aikens), Great grand-children: Ava Sheppard, Eden Sheppard, Dominic Sheppard and Jack Aikens, and her Sister Virginia King (Patrick King) and as a member of the Baha'i community of Canada, many friends throughout the country and the world. She was predeceased by her Husband: Michael Joseph Lahey, Daughters: Barbara Ann Lahey, Donna Marie Lahey, Sisters: Helen, Margaret, Edna, Agnes. Brothers: Michael, Peter, Patrick, Hubert, Alphonsus. Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th at Church of the Good Shepherd, Norris Point from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 11 am, Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Norris Point. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
