Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, on Saturday, May 11, 2013, MARY JANE FAREWELL, of Creston South, NL, in her 93rd year. Leaving to mourn her loving children Elsie Haskell, St. Lawrence, Thomas (Ethel), Creston South, Elizabeth Shea, Marystown, Sylvia Foote (Cecil), Creston South, Norma Clarke (Rex), Epworth, Jim (Margie), Winterland, Kay White (Wayne), Creston South, Ray (Della), Alberta, Allan (Ann), Paradise, 22 Grandchildren, 28 great grand children, ; sisters Elizabeth Wiscombe, Toronto and Lydia Appleby, Burin, sister in law Shirley Hodder, Creston North; and a large number relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband William H.

Rev. Hubert F. Tucker conducted the Funeral Service at Calvary United Church, Creston South, on Tuesday, May 14th, 2013; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Creston South.

In Mary Jane’s memory, donations may be made to the Calvary United Church, Creston South.

Pall bearers were her grandsons Kenny Foote, Matthew Farewell, Jamie Farewell, Justin White, Colin Farewell, and Craig Farewell.
