Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, May 22,2013 at the Bell Island Hospital, Mr. Thomas Dobbin in his 83rd year. Predeceased by his parents: Andrew and Mary Dobbin; sisters: Marie Lahey and Doreen Dobbin; brother Kevin and daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Burke) Dobbin; grandson Billy Doyle. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Marguerite, married 61 years; sons: Thomas (Gertie), Gerald (Judy), Leo (Sandra), Keith (Dana), Reg (Bernadine); daughters: Marion (Walt), Mary (Gerald), Donna (Kevin), brothers: Andrew (Theresa), Cyril (Betty), Gerald (Doris); sisters: Clara (Fred), Ann, Patricia (Jim), and sister-in-law Rose Dobbin; 19 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the Doctors and the nursing staff of Bell Island Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 24th at Pendergast’s Funeral Home from 12 Noon - 9.00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Michaels Parish at 10.00 a.m. on Saturday May 25th, 2013.
