It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Elizabeth Collier (Bessie) announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Mary Blanchard, Bruce (Susan) King, Betty Lou (Joey) Keating, Shawn (Angie) King, Charlie (Jane) King, Paula (Ian) MacIsaac; grandchildren: Lenny, Colin, Derek, Lyla, Gizelle, Desmond, Matthew, Ethan; great-grandchildren: Abrea, Natalia; brothers: Jack, Jerry, Sam, Russell; sisters: Lalie, Norma, Laura and Rona as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband Levi Collier, parents Sadie King & Francis Bennett, daughter Star King, son-in-law Leonard Blanchard and sister Edna Curnew. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Sunday from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Monday, June 17, 2013 from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry Officiating. Inurnment will follow the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mattis Point. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
