AUBE, MARTIN E. - 1926 - 2013 - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Martin E. Aube, age 87, after a short battle with cancer. His passing occurred at home surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Martin was a well-known businessman in Bathurst, his lifelong home. He will be dearly missed by his son, Berny of Robertville; his daughter, Anne (Robert) Hue of Toronto and his granddaughter, Leigh (John) of Saint John. He is predeceased by his parents: Edward M. and Frances (Roy) Aube. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Herman J. Good Branch 18, Bathurst. Of late, Martin had spent his time between Toronto and Bathurst. Self taught, he picked up the fiddle and has actively played for the last 20 years. Donations in memory of Martin, the family asks for donations to the donor’s preferred charity.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Friday, June 14th at 3pm with a reception to follow.
