It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Young announce his passing on Sunday, June 16th, 2013 at the age of 60. Raymond was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and son, he will forever be cherished by his wife Doris (nee Pittman), daughters: Jennifer (Matthew) Dove, Janet (James) Lundrigan, son Jeffery (Melinda) Young; five precious grandchildren: Samuel, Emma and Sarah Lundrigan; Maximus and William Dove and another grandson expected in August, sisters and brothers: Gussie (Eric) Baker, Ruth (Ron) Abbott, Tom (Annie) Young, Hughie (Carolanne) Young, sisters and brothers-in-law: Edie (Ron), Marie, Vera (Lester), Eudora, Linda, Lillian (Cecil), Louise, Walter, Stirling (Irene), Rod (Valerie) and Boyd (Joan) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Adam (Gordon) Young and mother Mary Feadore Young, sisters: Mariah Young and Vivian Thomas, father and mother-in-law Hector and Myrtle Pittman. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive in Deer Lake on Tuesday, June 18th from 2-4 and 7-9PM, the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 19th 2013 at St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church in Deer Lake at 2 PM with Rt. Rev. Donald Young officiating. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Western Health Palliative Care Unit, the Chemotherapy Unit of Stephenville and Corner Brook or a Charity of one’s Choice.
