The death occurred on Sunday, June 16th, of Mary Hazel Emery (née Smith), daughter of the late Celestine and Rose Smith, formerly of Carleton Siding, P.E.I. Survived by sons Jim of Oregon and Rob of Toronto, six grandchildren, brother Wilbert (Bud) Smith of Toronto, sister Ade Valde of Calgary, sisters-in-law Martina Smith of Mississauga and Janice Crosier of Summerside. Predeceased by daughter Linda of Syracuse, N.Y., brother Leo Smith of Mississauga, brother Ivan Smith of Summerside, and sister Patricia Richards of Summerside. By request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro.
