Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, Joseph Gerard McGrath, age 65 years. Predeceased by parents Anne and John McGrath, sisters Betty (Phaiah), Marie (Mahoney) and much loved brother Patrick. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife of 42 years, Diane (Meades); sons: Joseph (wife Jennifer Reid), Alan (wife Heather Barrie) and grandchildren: Dylan, Luke, Ryan, Hannah and Evan. Also, leaving to mourn sisters: Patricia (Noel) Kelly, Alice (Mike) Donovan, Jo-Anne (Geoff) Tooton; brothers: John (Eleanor); Jerome (Debbie); sister in-law Gail (William) Kirby; brother in-law Dan (Lynda) Meades; special nephew Craig Mahoney and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in both Newfoundland and Florida. Special thanks and gratitude to Dr. Patrick O’Shea, nurses Shannon and Sharon and Dr. Thavanathan. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday, June 20th and Friday, June 21st from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian burial to take place on Saturday, June 22nd at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church.
