ANDERSON- Margaret Ann Anderson (Nee: Dunham), age 71 of Swift Current, SK passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at Cypress Regional Hospital, with her family by her side. A Memorial Tea was held from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, at the Waldeck Community Hall. Honoring her wishes, Margaret's ashes will be laid to rest in a place of her choosing. Margaret is survived by her husband, James K. Anderson; her three sons Ronald, Brent (Maria) and Clinton; granddaughter, Kayla; sisters, Marion Mann, Sandra (Herman) Friesen; brother, Arnold (Gail) Dunham; sister-in-law, Faye Dunham; brother-in-law, Cecil Duzan; and many nieces and nephews. She will also be dearly missed by Jim's family, Franklin (Vera) Anderson, Bob (Jean) Anderson, Francis (Harvey) Gerlach, Beulah Goby, and Martha Anderson and families. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Mabel Dunham; sisters, Helen Duzan and Ruth (Jim) Drake; brother, Randy Dunham; and brother in law George Mann. Margaret was born in Gravelbourg, SK, on December 12, 1941 and she attended school in Shamrock and Stewart Valley. She married Jim Anderson on November 4, 1961 and together they raised 3 sons, Ronald of Swift Current, SK, Brent of Georgetown, ON, and Clinton of Calgary, AB. Margaret spoke fondly of her days working at Co-op in Stewart Valley, Galloway's Pharmacy in Central Butte, Pharmasave and Postal Outlet, and the TNT Family Restaurant in Swift Current. In her younger years, Margaret curled and played softball. As years passed she always enjoyed gatherings with friends and family and loved to tell stories and jokes over a cup of coffee. Margaret always looked forward to watching curling matches and spending time with her grand daughter Kayla. Friends and Family may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a charity of ones choice in memory of Margaret. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
