DURLEY, FLORENCE - It is with a sad heart, that the family announces the death of Florence Mary Durley, of Bloomfield, NB, at the age of 64, which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John, NB, on Monday, June 24, 2013. She was the common law wife of Irvin Jones, and the daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Tays) Marks. Florence is survived by her common law husband Irvin Jones; sister Geraldine Bettle and her husband Donnie of Passekeag, NB; brother Charles Marks of Bloomfield, NB; sister-in-law Nancy Marks of Bloomfield, NB; step daughter Theresa Jones (Andrew Robichaud); several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother John “Franny” Marks, who died on May 12, 2013.
She is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home, (506) 832-5541, 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Wednesday, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Jim Touchbourne, will be held at 11:00 am. on Thursday, June 27, 2013, from Reid’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery.
