It is with great sadness that the family of the late Howard Joseph Young announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the age of 81 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, five sons: Robert (Sue) and Larry (Carol), all of Elliot Lake, Ontario, Wayne (Cathy) of Prince Edward Island, Melvin (Del) of Acton, Ontario, Tommy of Aguathuna; four daughters: Maria (Wilson) Hinks of Aguathuna, Janet (Ken) Pearse and Lisa (Ted), all of Elliot Lake, Ontario, Lorie (Peter) Fleming of Aguathuna; seven sisters: Monica, Yvonne, Edna, Audrey (Charlie), Marie, Regina (Adrian), Agnes and a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters, Patsy, Geraldine, Genevieve, brothers, Michael, Edward and his parents Mary and Johnny Duncan Young. Friends may call at Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East on Wednesday, June 26th from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Port au Port East.
