Peacefully in hospital, Ottawa, with her loving family by her side, on Monday June 24, 2013 Susan A. Power-Gallant at the age of 67.
Beloved wife and best friend of Linus V. Gallant. Much loved and respected mother of Noella Klawitter (Derek), Maria Power, Cheri-Lynn Power and Bernadette Vicente (Graham). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jenna Sky Power, Tanner Power and Mario, Christopher and Tiago Vicente. Dear sister of Debbie and Shelagh and stepmother of Michelle MacKinnon (Dave), Greg, Vincent and Jeff Gallant.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus at 10:30 a.m. Following the mass a reception will take place at Paddy’s Pub. Interment will then follow at Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery.
The CWL will hold a prayer service at the funeral home Friday at 6:30 p.m.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Catholic Women’s League – Fort Augustus or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
