Boutilier, Thelma Irene, 95 of Middleton, Anna. Co. passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 in the Heart of the Valley, Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born in Nictaux, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Julia (Conant) Mosher. After graduating from Mack’s Business College in Kentville, Thelma was employed at the Royal Bank of Canada in Middleton for a time. She then worked as a bookkeeper with Mosher’s Hardware Limited, Middleton, retiring after some 30 years of service. Thelma was a member of Al-Anon, the Ladies Auxiliary Branch #1, Royal Canadian Legion, Middleton; member & Sunday school teacher at St. John’s United Church, Middleton, and later became a member of Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church. She was an avid skater and bowler and enjoyed long walks and picnics and drives to the Bay of Fundy. Surviving are her sons, Bob (Linda), Middleton and Roger (Joan), Wolfville; grandchildren, Beckie, Aaron, Joy and Grace; brother, George (Ethelyn) Mosher, Nictaux; nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Charles and brother, Gerald (Bonnie) Mosher, Middleton. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Coldbrook. There was no visitation by request. The memorial service was held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 8th in the Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church, Middleton. Pastor Sweis Ubels officiating. A reception followed in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church or to a charity of choice.
