FINNIGAN, OLIVE - (1924-2013) - Moncton - Passed away peacefully at her ProTem residence in Moncton, NB on June 30. Wife of the late Armand Finnigan, Olive, along with her children, followed her military husband to many different places until retirement brought her family to Duvernay, QC for 16 years. Olive and Armand finally returned to their native New Brunswick in 1982. Very active until four years ago, she enjoyed a brisk daily walk, as well as traveling and entertaining her family. Mother of Gloria, Ron, Rita (Jay), Ida (Steve), Maria, Ray (Michelle), Bernie (Ramon), Yvonne (Mike) and Gerry. Grandmother of fourteen and great grandmother of eight. Survived by her sister, Cécilia, sisters-in-law, Irene, Aggie, Bertha, Marguerite, Ella, Eva, Claudia, and Thérèse; brothers-in-law, Laurent (Janet) and Fernand (Ozina), many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the dedicated staff at ProTem for the loving care given to Mom these past ten months and especially these last few days of her life.
Family will be receiving relatives and friends at the salon 'La Colombe', 11325, route 126, Rogersville, Wednesday, July 3rd, at 2pm. Funerals will be held at St-François-de-Sales RC church of Rogersville on Thursday July 4th, at 11am. Visitation hours: Wednesday, July 3rd from 2pm to 4pm, and 7pm to 9pm and Thursday, July 4th from 9:30 am until the departure for the funerals.
