MORAN, BEATRICE - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Beatrice Evelyn Moran, age 83, wife of the late Roy Moran, of Hampton, NB, which occurred on Friday, July 12, 2013, at Embassy Hall, Quispamsis, NB. Born in Bloomfield, Kings County, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Viola (McLellan) Mercer. Beatrice is survived by her two daughters, Dale (Barry) Bisanti of Bramalea, ON and Lorraine (Vernon Hickey) Moran of Hampton, NB; and her three sons, Wayne (Marianne Dickie) Moran, Gary (Wanda) Moran and James (Diane) Moran, all of Hampton, NB; sister, Jessie (Chuck) O'Brien of Ottawa, ON; brothers, Gordon Mercer and Sterling (Evelyn) Mercer of Hampton, NB; two sisters-in-law, Elsie Mercer of Bloomfield, NB and Suzanne Morrison of Hampton, NB; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Harold, Chesley, Warren and Edmund; five sisters, Dorothy Myserscough, Gladys McGrath, Grace Grass, Eleanor Cusack and Margaret Mercer.
She is resting at Reid's Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, conducted by Father Kevin Barry, will be held at St. Alphonsus Church, Hampton, NB, on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Lighthouse River Centre. Donations in memory of Beatrice may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NB or to a memorial of the donor's choice. Condolences to the family can be made through www.reidsfh.com
