POWERS, RAYMOND - It is with heartfelt sadness, the family of Anita Powers of Hampton, NB, wife of Raymond Powers, announces her passing on Friday, July 19, 2013, at Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John, NB. She was born, August 8, 1938 in Piusville, PE, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose Marie (Gallant) Blanchard. Anita is survived by her daughters, Krista Locke (Tim), Tracey Wright of Hampton, NB; son Donald Powers of Hampton, NB; two sisters Hermine Soucy of Willow Grove, NB, Lorraine Blanchard of Hampton, NB; two brothers Fred Blanchard (Sandy) of Quispamsis, NB, Don Blanchard (Bernice) of Alberton, PE; six grandchildren Tondie, Joshua, Sheldon, Alex, Kaleb , Lukas and one great grandson Hunter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by one sister Louise Myshrall and four brothers Hubert, Clifford, Benny, and Norman Blanchard.
She is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Ralph Powers will be held from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am on Monday, July 22, 2013.
