STRONG, LEOTA MURIEL - August 10, 1921 - July 24, 2013 - Leota Muriel Strong (nee Hatfield) of Woodstock, New Brunswick passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. She was born at Windsor, New Brunswick on August 10, 1921. Daughter of the late Sanke and Flora (Wasson) Hatfield. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford Allison Strong, her brother Sheldon Hatfield. Survived by her children, Brenda Garrett (Brian) of Vancouver, BC and their son Brock Garrett, Carl Strong (Linda) of 108 Mile Ranch, BC and daughter Sara McLellan, Rhonda Farrell (Cameron) of Woodstock, N.B. and their son Kyle Farrell; one sister Phyllis Phillips and sisters-in-law, Pam Hatfield and Louise Gartley; nieces and nephews.
Visitation from The Culberson Funeral Home on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service for Leota Strong will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from The Culberson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dale MacDonald officiating. Committal and interment will follow at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery followed by a reception at the Culberson Funeral Home.
