Moore, Valerie June – age 84 years of Wolfville, passed away peacefully at the Wolfville Nursing Home on August 1, 2013. Born in England on September 24, 1928; she was the only child of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Rippon) Moore. Valerie was an avid animal lover, and especially loved her horses and flower gardens. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Tony and his wife Alison of Cambridge; cousin John and his wife Ruth of England. In keeping with Valerie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the SPCA.
